To practice deep breathing, breathe in for five seconds and out for five seconds. Do that sequence three times and notice how different you feel!

Our brains can get cluttered with a lot of information throughout the day. Mindfulness is an activity that slows down your thoughts and allows you to focus on one or two things like your breathing or the sounds of nature. Practice mindfulness when you need to relax your body and mind. It will help you make fit choices.

Set a goal this week to spend at least 10 minutes outside everyday with no distractions. Breathe in the fresh air to reset your MOOD.

It's important to have quiet activities that you enjoy doing by yourself. This is a great way to boost your MOOD. You can do any activity that you think is relaxing and fun like reading or listening to music. When the weather is nice, try to do some of these activities outside.

Journal outside today. Take a notebook and jot down anything you want. You can write a story, make a list of things you're thankful for, or write a note to a friend.
