Since you had to "spring ahead" and lose an hour of sleep this weekend, make sure you fuel your body with fit FOOD, so you can make it through the day without an energy crash!

Sometimes, we make choices because we feel tired or bored. Rather than making FOOD choices on a whim, stop and think about your energy level and your MOOD before choosing the "easiest" snack. Make sure it's a fit FOOD choice. Doing a fit-check will help you make the best FOOD choices!

Remind yourself to make the fit choice! Create your own fit-check here and hang in the kitchen to remind yourself to choose the healthiest option when you have the choice.

Good thing we're getting more sunlight because there are plenty of fruits and vegetables coming into season during March! They need nutrients from the sunshine to grow.

Ever heard of photosynthesis? It's a big word that describes how plants get their energy from the sun. Just like FOOD is fuel for our bodies, sunlight gives plants the energy they need to grow and develop into yummy fruits and vegetables. What are some foods you eat that come from a plant?

Grow Grow Grow!

Do you have a green thumb? Ask an adult to help you plant something this weekend. Lettuce and cucumbers are a choice option for beginners, just make sure they have plenty of sunlight!
