Hello first day of Spring! If you’ve had that sluggish feeling of not wanting to do something that you know is good for you—today you can spring into a new attitude!
During the winter months it’s easy to put off healthy food choices or being active. Now you can put winter behind you and do something! Why not gather your family members and, instead of watching TV, play a game of tag! It’s fun, and a great way to get some moving.
Today is National Common Courtesy Day, a day to practice saying “please” and “thank you.” When you show a kind attitude, you inspire others to do the same.
Today is also Absolutely Incredible Kid Day, so let someone know how fantastic they are! And, be sure to say thank you when someone tells you how fantastic you are!
Get ready to be goofy! It’s National Goof Off Day! What fun and silly things will you do today?
When you play outside in the fresh air, it is the best way to boost your MOOD and attitude! As the weather warms, call a friend and ask to play at the park or go for a walk around the neighborhood. Find animal shapes in the clouds or take a bike ride.

Visualize. When things aren’t going your way, keep a positive attitude by visualizing yourself succeeding and achieving your goals. When Nelson Mandela was incarcerated—in a tiny cell that was just 6 feet wide–he kept his hopes up by visualizing himself being set free.
Smiling changes your attitude. If you have any doubts, the next time you feel down or sluggish, start smiling and think of positive thoughts—like laughing and playing outside—and see what happens. You can’t help but have a better attitude when you smile.
